TOPIM 2013, JANUARY 20-25, 2013

TOPIM 2013 - the 7th ESMI Winter Conference - Imaging Hallmarks of Cancer
January 20-25, 2013, Les Houches (France)

Today’s in vivo images of cancer demonstrate that cancer isno longer synonym of death but still linger somewhere in between blindness andclarity. The next stage in cancer imaging will be to produce and interpret invivo images of cancer according to the biological hallmarks of cancer definedby Hanahan and Weinberg: sustained proliferative signaling, evasion from growthsuppressors and immune destruction, enabling of replicative immortality,tumor-promoting inflammation, activation of invasion and metastasis, inductionof angiogenesis, genomic instability and mutation, resistance to cell death andderegulation of cellular energetics

PET/SPECT symposium, APRIL 23-25, 2012

International Symposium on PET and SPECT in Neurology and Psychiatry, Groningen, The Netherlands

The International Symposium on PET and SPECT in neurology and psychiatry, is unique. Few nuclear imaging conferences focus on the brain, let alone that they deal in a systematic way with all major pathologies in neurology and psychiatry. Moreover, this symposium takes the perspective of a review of imaging different receptor systems involved in neurological and psychiatrical disorders and for which tracers are available. Hence, this symposium will not only be of interest to clinicians, but also to neuroscientists of different backgrounds. Biospace Lab will be there to present its new developments in multimodality imaging complementing PET/SPECT experiments.
