Bruno Brisson, President and CEO, Director Sales and Marketing
Bruno holds a Master of Science in Biotechnologies and has been in the biotech business for 15 years.
After spending some years in technology transfer in France, he held a position as a Research Associate and
Business Analyst in a consulting firm of Chicago, USA. Bruno came back to France in 2001 to participate to
the launch of a biotechnology incubator and then took a position of Business Development Manager during
four years at Cellectis, biotech start-up specialized in genome engineering and now quoted on the
AlterNext. Then Bruno spent two years as Director, Business Development, at Mauna Kea Technologies,
Medtech start-up focused on in-vivo microscopic imaging.
Serge Maitrejean, COO
A world recognized expert in detection, Serge holds several patents on detection technologies for security
and health. Prior to joining Biospace Lab, Serge has been a scientist with Schlumberger, then Heinmann, with a
leading role on the development of high-end screening security equipment for luggage and containers.
He is instrumental in the development of Biospace Lab's unique imaging technologies and products. Serge holds
a PhD in physics.
Pascal Asselin, Purchasing Officer and Quality Manager
Pascal holds an engineering degree in electronics. After several years in the field of embedded electronics for defense systems
with MATRA ELECTRONIQUE, a subsidiary of MBDA, he joined the start-up company Biospace Lab in 1997. His first missions were
to ensure product reliability and lead the industrialization of new products.
Now a Puchase Officer and a Quality Manager, Pascal is responsible for the organisation of Biospace Lab Subcontracting and Purchasing,
as well as the company compliance with its Quality Policy.
Philippe Cuscito, Production and Service Manager
Philippe has been in the instrumentation field for 12 years.
After a few years as a field engineer for Semitool Europe in the semiconductor industry,
he joined Biospace Lab as a field service specialist.
Today he manages the Customer Support and Production Department.
Philippe holds an engineering degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems.
Monique Tran, Manager Administration and Finance
Monique holds a Master in Accounting and Finance and started to work within subsidiaries of big companies (SNCF, Veolia).
After an experience of 3 years with a Biotech start-up, she worked with “Médecins Sans Frontières” before joining Biospace Lab in January 2008.
Monique brings more than 7 years of valuable professional experience to the company as she always played a critical role
in the improvement of the organization and the financial results in each of her previous positions.
She is responsible for the accounting management and all the administrative aspects of Biospace Lab.
Rémy Sence, Sales Director France Benelux Switzerland
Rémy has spent more than 20 years in the laboratory instrumentation business in detection and analytical techniques.
After a Master of Science in Biology at the University P. & M. Curie (Paris 6), he began as a nuclear specialist
in charge of sales and applications for radioactivity counters in the Swedish company LKB during 6 years.
He was then in charge of the new emerging capillary electrophoresis technique introduction on
the French and Italian markets at Spectra Physics. Coming back to radioactivity, he spent 10 years at Packard Instrument,
then Canberra Packard, and successfully participated to the launch of several new instruments ranges
in this world-class radioactivity detection leader: imagers, microplate readers, and robotics.
He then developped the German company Raytest business on the French market in quality control instrumentation for nuclear medicine,
radiosynthesis units for PET labs in cyclotrons, and imagers. He joined Biospace Lab in October 2007 where he is dealing with all
the commercial aspects of our product lines where we deal directly with the users.
Quentin Le Masne, Manager R&D Photon Imager
After graduating from Ecole Polytechnique and ENSCP,
Quentin studied biochemistry with a Master of Science in pharmacology.
He then obtained a PhD at University Paris VI, managing a project linking
nanotechnology and biology. During this exciting and motivating experience in fundamental research,
he successfully developped an innovative optical imaging technique based on nanoparticle probes.
Quentin then chose to move in high-technology industry by joining Biospace Lab.
He is now responsible for all the research and industrialization in optics for which his
strong background in biology helps the company keep the developments on line with user needs.
